Municipal Pipe Maintenance Planning
Working together, we can help you break down your system, review your maps, and schedule out for several years based on your budget. And we can provide long-term municipal pipe maintenance plans that extend out over five years. As a result, we will spell out specifically which activities, inspection procedures, and other practices we’ll offer.
With our sewer health assessment we can help you understand what is needed for your community or business. For example, our trained technicians can conduct a thorough camera inspection. Because we perform system cleaning to remove debris and assess the condition of your sewer infrastructure on a yearly schedule. And our yearly "Clean & Televise" program is tailored to the needs and budget of each individual municipality. As a result, we keep the flow of your sewer system adequate. And we are able to identify weaknesses before the become larger, more expensive problems. Based on those findings, we can offer innovative and cost-effective solutions.
Tree Root Elimination throughMunicipal Pipe Maintenance
One common solution we offer based on routine inspections is tree root elimination. Because nearby trees sense excess moisture in the soil around sewer lines. So their roots grow and invade that sewer system. Because older sewer pipes constructed out of clay or cast iron materials. So these pipes are especially susceptible to tree root invasions, and we commonly see this in aging Iowa sewer infrastructures. And if left unattended, those roots can quickly deteriorate the sewer pipes and cause breakages that require a lot of time and money to repair.
Our camera inspections can find tree root invasions in your sewer pipes. So we can promptly remove them using hydro jetting, descaling, or robotic cutting solutions. Then, we can repair the damaged pipe using Cured-in-Place pipe lining (CIPP). This is a non-destructive from of modern trenchless rehabilitation. In the CIPP process, our team dig a small access hole, send a liner through the hole, and snake the liner through the sewer line. Then we cure the liner to the interior of the existing pipe, and build a seamless and long-lasting new pipe in its place.
We can also use an environmentally-friendly product called RootX to remove invading tree roots from your sewer pipes. Our team can carefully send the EPA-approved formula into your blocked or damaged sewer line. Then the formula will foam on contact with water. That foam can reach the top of the pipe to penetrate and kill the roots. So the old roots will decay and new root growth will be stunted. With routine usage, RootX should keep your aggressive roots from growing back into the sewer line and keep your pipe flow capacity restored.
Lateral Launching
Routine reviews of municipal sewer systems also commonly reveal a need to see into lateral lines tied to a particular main. And our cameras have the ability to launch a camera from the sewer main into connecting laterals for a thorough inspection. So we use high-resolution cameras to reveal problems. And this inspection can be used to find the pipe defects, debris accumulation, and overall condition of those usually smaller lateral sewer pipes. As with the sewer main, we use the information about the laterals to provide more effective repair solutions and maintenance programs. And this helps control the I&I that so often starts in lateral lines. So from the main to your laterals, we can offer repair and maintenance ideas to keep your entire municipal system working smoothly.

WHAT WE CAN DO
We specialize in a variety of services that allow us to inspect, clean, repair, replace, and line municipal pipes with speed and efficiency. So call us if you have any sewer related issue.
Hydro Excavation
Using high-pressure water to remove the soil from around your municipal pipes will allow our team to safely and naturally excavate your property. So the cost and mess will be reduced.
Cured-in-place Pipe (CIPP)
Your city’s sewer and drain system needs to be running at all times. So Manhole to manhole pipe lining eliminates the need for excavating your streets.
Manhole Rehab
Failing manholes are a common weakness within sewer systems. In addition to I & I problems, leaky manholes cause street problems and costly repairs. We can seal your manholes and return their structural integrity with trenchless methods using OBIC rehab systems.
Robotic Cutting
We use industry leading technology to robotically cut and reinstate your pipes from within. And this is safer because human entry is dangerous and prohibitive.
Jetting and Descaling
It is essential for your pipes to be thoroughly cleaned with environmentally-friendly techniques. And that's why we have certified professional for the job.
Cleaning and Televising
